7 DECEMBER - 1:45PM

Millions of years of evolution have led nature to equip most humans and animals with natural 3D visual & auditory perception. Stereoscopic 3D (S3D) imaging is thus a MUST for almost any immersive content or application, be it for 3D cinema or for VR, AR, MR, XR, or 360°. At the box office, S3D movies continue to gross the largest revenues.

This Thematic Conference explores the latest trends in S3D acquisition, processing, visualization, and exploitation, and covers its scientific, technical, artistic, & business aspects. On the technology side, it presents the latest developments in S3D laser projectors, S3D visualization without glasses for TV and cinema, lightfield, and 2D-to-3D dimensionalization. On the content side, it features some recent S3D movies and “behind-the scenes”.
